Mountain Caribou (Rangifer tarandus) adults and yearling on the Maligne Range, Jasper Park, Canadian Rockies. I took this image in 1993. since then this herd of caribou has become extirptated from this habitat due to numerous factors, likely including global warming and increased predation due to human-related winter access.
